In this project, I hope that I can apply the knowledge I learned in the previous project and learn more about the areas I noticed. Because the concept of my last project study is geometry, and the overall idea of design is to gradually develop around the straight line geometry. In fact, this is a very broad concept, so this time I want to take a deeper look at geometric building forms, especially non-linear curved buildings. I will start with research and learn autonomously the relationship between architecture and geometry, and the relationship between architecture and nature. At present I have a lot of research directions on architectural forms, such as non-Euclidean geometry, distortion and bionics. Secondly, mathematical geometry is a huge field. From the geometric prototype, I can segment ruled surfaces (hyperbolic paraboloids), minimal surfaces (minimum surfaces), triangular topologically equivalent transformations, fractal geometry (fractal geometry), Voronoi. Pictures and so on, these are the directions I can learn in the future. However, the modeling capabilities of non-linear buildings are high. In this project, I will learn 3dmax or grasshopper on the Internet to help Zaza Hadid, Steven Hall, and Sergi La Theinfluence of non-linear architects such as Du Pope, Alvaro Siza, and Oscar Niemeyer has given me a new understanding of architectural design. In major and middle school studies, I will mainly focus on this type of architecture. To learn the works and design concepts of the teacher. And there are many non-linear buildings that can be seen in London and Shanghai, which can help me feel and understand non-linear buildings better.
This time my theme will focus on solving the problem of dense urban environment and high population density in public places. Especially the outbreak of the new coronavirus in China is very large because of the cross-infection of the crowd, so I want to design a building where I can choose between the train station, the bus station and the airport because these places are population Dense venues I will choose Shanghai or Beijing, China, these two cities are densely populated and scattered. In particular, the Chinese government ’s permanent residence policy for foreigners has just been settled. I believe that in the near future, the two central cities of Shanghai and Beijing will have more and more international friends living. Therefore, I think space is a demonstration of aesthetics and system. It is a carrier, and in essence it still needs to serve people. Through a building that can breathe “, from the perspective of human nature, go to the reverse space to build a sense of vortex of life. The wind, water, sun and earth of the building are the origin of human life, and more than 70% of the area on the earth It ’s the ocean, the water is the same as the one that nurtures humans. Water is the source of life. In the future research and development, I will pay attention to the element of water-mysterious fluid. The curve architecture designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer also has many curve sources Natural landscape of his native Brazil.
I will annotate every step of my development and record it on the blog. I will try to find inspiration from the water elements I can imagine, such as sea, waterfall, tsunami, etc. Draw these natural outline shapes with a pen, and derive the architectural form of the design I want step by step. There is also trip week research and drawing, which will be very helpful for my development. I will use vacation time to visit non-linear architectural works and expand their imagination by hand drawing.
