FAD Unit 4 FMP Reflection & evaluation Form 19-20-1

This week I finished the design of all projects. I completed the rendering of the model and the modification of the plan and elevation. So I went back and checked everything, and I felt that the investigation was still not enough and in-depth. So I did some research on the world population this week. In the survey, I first went to understand the future growth trend of the Chinese population and the future growth trend of the Indian population, and analyze the differences between the populations of the two countries. Then, by investigating the state forms of this epidemic, we can make a superficial judgment on the impact of this epidemic on various countries. After finishing these, I started to prepare my one-to-one tutor form and reflection blog. Be prepared to submit all works on 5.26.

This week, I completed my floor plan and modeling. This is a three-floor traffic station architectural design project. In the process, I encountered many problems. For example, I forgot how to cut the elevation. I tried many times to finish the elevation. When making a floor plan, I forgot how to draw the layer height. Moreover, the height of the building makes me very distressed. This is the first time I have designed a three-story building. I did n’t know much about the height of the building. Therefore, when I showed Nancy my floor plans and elevations, I made a lot of mistakes. These errors are an opportunity for me to learn. In the future, I would like to try more and remember what I learned from Nancy.

FAD Unit 4 FMP Bibliography form 19-20-1

During this week, i made some developments for my architecture design. As what i expected, i tried using the clothes wrinkle for my experimentation. then i developed the shape into my design. i did many times to sketch the building shape, but most of them looks like a mountain hole. therefore, i decided to combining the nonlinear shape and tranditional rectangle to make the final outcome looks more natural. This is based on a book i read recently,T his book is called <landscape city>. It was written by an avant-garde architect. He advocated that the future architecture and nature should be integrated to create more organic architectural forms.  i inspired a lot, and i really like the arhchitecture he designed. during the development process, i improved my modeling skills, and i found a teacher to help me. next week, i would like to make some primary research and material research. by the way, i think i still need to make more research for population increasing.

This week, I did some research about population increasing in the world. And after i had a conversation with Nancy, I want to change a bit of my proposal cause I decided to use the location in Madrid. That because the city government had made a city development action in the past, which is called CASTRO PLAN. Therefore, the structure of the city planning is really different than china. As what I researched, there is a train railway go around the city. Also, around recent years, there is an increasing number of buses served in that city. So, I think this location will be more benefit than others. Next week, I am going to do some development. by the way, i the start the development after i did the experimentation. because i think that is really important for the final shape of the architecture. this time, i will make the development in 3 different way. firstly, i will sketch by hand, then i would like to try the digital drawing by ipad. after that, i would like to try using sketch up modeling the basic shape and recording the developing process.
