For this project I learned that what is the importance of inclusive environment design，and we did some examples to present what is the exactly concept of inclusive environment design in our school. After that，I went to outside and did some research on urban planning and public space. Finally, I identified the solutions of each problem，especially for the smoking area in varsity house (students accommodation). And now，I am doing the blog and prepare for the presentation in the afternoon.
(After presentation，I realized that I had misunderstood inclusive environment design. Actually I felt limited when I was designing the solution. I was confused by the importances of idea and logic. When I opened my mind to thinking lots of creative ideas，I always tell myself that is not in logic，that not realistic. So，I am not satisfied with my this project，I found the issue of myself，I hope next time I can forget my hidebound idea and make more creative stuffs. )
This is my period assessment.
Firstly，I wrote my understanding of the important of inclusive environment design，which is offer an environment that can make all the different types of people’s experience amd feeling more comfortable and convenient. Which also means take care of all kinds of people to adapt to the environment is important. Also，I made an instance that I think it is similar to diversified education.
Secondly，I chose one of the example of public environment problems in CSVPA and analyzed the problems and made solutions.
Here is my analysis for the problem we find in CSVPA.
Here is the solutions I drew.
For this，I changed the door to sliding door，that maximize the space. 
For this，I installed handrails as a support. Also，it can avoid the problem that wet floor let people fall down.
And there are my secondary research from some websites. I chose seven principles of inclusive design as secondary research because I think these really helped me to understand that what is inclusive environment design.
There are some primary research from public space and urban planning I did and solved. For this bus station，I found the seat is too short，and if it is raining or windy weather，it will be terrible for people stay at the bus station. Therefore，for my solutions I extend the seat and add two wall space at each side of station. Long seat is more comfortable for people to sit，especially for people who are elderly and and barriers to their action. Also，the wall space of bus station can made by glass or transparent plastic，that in order to prevent wind and rain coming in.
For this bike facility，it can cause the bike to to become wet when it rains. Therefore，for the solutions of this，the first one I made the roof for bikes and extended the size. As the bus station，that can prevent the rain for bikes.
For the second one is easier to solve the problem. I arranged two boxes on this bike facility and put something like plastic bag inside. One box is for taking，the other one is for recycling. The plastic bag can use by cover the seat of bikes. The pattern of that is similar like shopping carts in some supermarkets.
This is my final development. Here is a smoking area. They are lots of problems should be solved for the building and interior. So，I took two pictures for building and interior respectively.
